  Unveiling the Power- The Staff of Gandalf the White from LOTR         Galadriel gave Gandalf a strong staff of power in Lothlórien after he rose from the dead as the White Wizard. Gandalf's strength and intelligence were increased by this pivotal moment, which also gave him the ability to actively aid the Free Peoples of Middle-earth. Armed with his newly discovered strength, he faced and defeated the cunning Saruman, who had given up his identity as "the White." Playing a crucial part in the fight against darkness, Gandalf became the leader of both the White Council and the Order of Wizards. Gandalf the White's staff, made of ash wood and most likely painted white, represented his high standing and steadfast dedication to obstructing the approaching shadows that threatened Middle-earth.
