Narsil's Origins and Early History

Narsil was a fabled sword that was forged by Telchar of the Dwarves during the first age.  And the knife Angrist was another valued weapon. That is a long and Interesting story that is related to this ring.  Its history stretched into the Second Age and get to Númenor before passing into the possession of Elendil of Andúnië.
The War of the Last Alliance and Narsil's Breakage

During the crusade of the last alliance of men.  And elves Narsil played the role of the foremost weapon used by Elendil and Gil-galad to stand against the Sauron. Unfortunately, even the most powerful weapon fails.  The sword was broken into two parts as a result of the battle with the Dark Lord.
Isildur's Triumph and Tragedy

Despite Narsil's destruction, Isildur, Elendil's brave son, seized a shard of the broken sword.  And used it to sever the One Ring from Sauron's grasp, securing a pivotal victory. However, Isildur's triumph soon turned to sorrow as his life was abruptly ended.   And his loyal squire Ohtar was tasked with delivering the shattered remnants of Narsil to Rivendell.

The Reforging of Narsil into Andúril

In the sanctuary of Rivendell, Narsil's fractured pieces remained under the watchful eye of Isildur's descendants until they were eventually entrusted to Aragorn in the Third Age. Guided by the Elves, Narsil underwent a remarkable transformation, emerging anew as the Andúril Sword, signifying Aragorn's rightful claim to the thrones of Arnor and Gondor.

Aragorn's Role in the War of the Ring

Armed with the mighty Andúril, Aragorn, renowned for his prowess as a ranger and warrior, emerged as a pivotal figure in the epic War of the Ring. The reforged sword became a symbol of hope and resilience, aiding Aragorn in his crucial battles, including the decisive clashes at the Pelennor Fields and the Black Gate.

Conclusion: The Enduring Legacy of Narsil

This fact shows that Narsil and his story did not perish with the main character but managed to travel through the ages and the hardships. Thus, in the case of the One Ring, its exquisite element serves to highlight that its importance did not diminish from Elendil to Aragorn. Andúril coming from the scorched remains of Narsil symbolized the future and the power of valor and selflessness which influenced the fate of Middle-earth that extended for many years.
